The JobWeeder advertising programme
JobWeeder is a search engine for finding Irish Jobs on the net. It removes many
inefficiencies associated with the job searching activity, allowing people to view more jobs
in a shorter space of time. As these inefficiencies are removed, the right type of people
start applying for the right types of jobs, increasing your turnaround in filling advertised
positions. As JobWeeder increases in popularity, so too does your service.
How does JobWeeder collect information
Using the search criteria of the user, JobWeeder sends a simple request to the search page
on your website. This would be similar to a user entering information directly on your website. JobWeeder
extracts headline information from the list of results returned by your website.
JobWeeder presents this information to the user in tabular form under the relevant website headings,
thus eliminating any confusion as to where this information originated. Once a user clicks on a headline,
they are transferred directly to the website from where the headline information originated. Once the
user is transferred from JobWeeder to the website in question, all interaction is solely between
the user and that particular website.
JobWeeder DOES NOT use spiders to crawl advertising websites.
JobWeeder DOES NOT query databases of advertising websites.
The only information JobWeeder stores from you website is headline information from specific jobs if
and only if a person saves this job in the JobWeeder basket.
All information attained by JobWeeder is through public interfaces (public website)published
by the advertising website.
